This piece was a commission for a client that wanted an artwork that followed a similar methodology as the Series 1 works, but with a subtle pink visual effect. To achieve this, I drew a combination of two separate interlocking grids laid on top of one another, one in magenta ink and the other in orange ink. Each of the grids employed its own rippling system of gradients, two independent rhythms of pattern, layered on top of one another to create an emergent harmony.
